MM-TC Year II Good news friends! Monthly Mix-Tape Club is back after a successful 12 months of sweet jams and avid subscribers. Issue I
of Year II will ship near the end of September. Year II is sure to offer another crop of some of our generation's
finest musicians, writers and underground music-biz aficionados curating tapes for ya'. For the low price of 24 bucks a year
(that's only 2 dollars a month) you will receive a hand-dubbed 32-40 minute cassette tape featuring unique artwork made by
Drew Donaghy, differing in look and style each month. We had over 40 subscribers last year from four different continents.
How could that many people from vastly different backgrounds be wrong? They couldn't! So please visit the MM-TC section of
the WAKR website and subscribe today! International MM-TC customers will still be charged 36 bucks a year, no price hike from
last year. Also, back issues from Year I are always available to purchase. The first 2 subscribers
receive a free bar of handmade cassette tape shaped soap. Made by Emily Beanblossom. Also, her band Christmas is on a national
tour, click here to see if they're comin' to your town!

Guided By Guided By Voices As it seems that there is some press about this compilation I figured I might as well announce it now... Coming sometime in August, GBGBV will be released as Wild Animal Kingdom catalog number 016. I don't really wanna' leak who's on it, but you
can probably get a pretty good idea if you have listened to either WAKR Vol.1 or Vol.2 Since there is no cover art
at the moment I have provided a picture of Bobby's band with my favorite lineup. (No one has looked cooler than Mitch Mitchell,
before or since) So look for a pre-order to come up on this website soon and go practice your jump-shots. You never
know when you'll have to play Bobby on a Sunday in Dayton, OH... If you or your band wanna possibly contribute (unfortunately no guarantees as everyone loves GBV) e-mail me.

Liam The Younger - Revel Hidden Worlds BACK IN STOCK! Hello folks! I'm happy to announce that Liam The Younger's latest record Revel Hidden Worlds is ready to be
shipped once again. Unsure of what he wanted to do with his new material, Liam asked if I would hold off on selling the tape
for awhile. Now, not only can you purchase a limited edition tape of Liam's latest work on cassette (Run of 50, about 35 left)
you can also buy an LP with handmade artwork from Liam himself on his website! So whichever medium tickles your fancy, be sure to check out Liam's newest music. He is a really nice guy, and very talented
musician. Also, the newest addition to our Baseball: America's Game series is now for sale.
If you are a Seattle Mariners fan, or just appreciate listening to any team's amazing comeback over the Yankees, then Volume.
II of our series is perfect for you. Or perhaps you're just nostalgic for the mid-90s. Either way, this is a limited run of
10 tapes, so check it!
